If you’ve read the blogs we place on this site, you’ve seen this statement before — if you are in foreclosure and you believe you’ve exhausted your last options, even then, DON’T MOVE OUT!
At least, you should not move out on your own. After the sale, the ultimate buyer may require that you vacate fairly quickly. But leaving your house exposes it to a lender. If they determine the house to be vacant, they can legally move to secure it. They will change the locks, and you will be out of a house you still own!
Keep trying until the last day. Sometimes, good things happen at the very last minute. And call us if you have any questions about this difficult and frustrating process.
Meanwhile, we wish you the very best of luck!
